We’re now looking for a senior consultant with experience in HR and change management, to help our clients successfully execute HR transformations. Within our People Consulting team, we continue to experience unprecedented growth across our competences: HR Transformation, Change Experience, Leadership & Culture, Digital HR and Talent & Skills (see below for more detail about these competences).

The People Consulting department consists of 30 HR and change management professionals who have at least one thing in common. We have a human-centric mindset and put humans at the center of our engagements to make a lasting impact for our clients. We closely work together across our competences in order to make a lasting client impact. Our focus competences are as follows, where we are now looking for a senior consultant with experience in both HR and change management.
HR Transformation
HR departments need to be fit for the future and organize their department in a most optimal way. How can HR departments ensure that they provide all needed HR products and services in a high quality and cost-effective manner? How do they need to organize themselves, and leverage shared services or offshore activities? We advise our clients what HR models will fit their organization best, which design decisions need to be made, and how to implement the HR operating model successfully.
Change experience
Change is constant and so are business needs and underlying solutions. In achieving business objectives and adoption of the overall solution, setting humans at center has been our key differentiator and success factor. Our focus is driving (behavioral) change management strategies as part of large business transformations. Key items include stakeholder management, change impact, communication, training, change influence networks, adoption strategies.

Digital HR
In an increasingly digital world, there’s a growing demand from our clients for HR digitization and HR technology solutions. We advise our clients on how to digitally transform their HR organisation. This includes guiding on new technologies, process automation, develop digital HR strategy and roadmap. Next to this, also leverage and oversee the implementation of HR technology to drive HR strategic priorities, essentially optimizing the employee experience and enabling (generative) artificial intelligence for HR.
Talent & Skills
How to ensure organizations have the right skills in the right place, at the right time, needed to realize their future ambitions? We advise our clients how to get insights into the skills they have and what is needed for the future, to close the (potential) gap and determine their build, build or borrow strategy. How to embed skills data in the various talent use cases and get the most value out of it? We support our clients in driving their talent strategy, building targeted career pathing, learning academies and implementing technology-driven marketplaces.
Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Demonstrate technical skills in both HR and Change Management. Approach complex HR transformations, including the change management perspective, with a human-centric mindset, offering innovative solutions that align with business objectives
- Work alongside clients and lead project workstreams from planning through implementation with your team
- Support during the sales process by brainstorming with the team on the client’s request and drive the development of solutions
- Prepare and facilitate client workshops
- Contribute to generating profitable revenue by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients
- Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for project-related initiatives and/or decisions

- Ability to bring ideas and insights to clients that provide value, help address risk and assist in driving solutions
- You demonstrate resilience in stressful situations and excel in performing under time pressure
- You are familiar with fast-paced dynamics and are able to navigate them effectively
General job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A relevant master’s degree, e.g. in Business Administration, HR or Change Management
- Relevant working experience of 3 to 5 years within industry or consulting-related roles with strong affinity for the people agenda
- Ability to analyze problems and to provide input to insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions
- Strong understanding of and experience with the HR function and Change Management methodologies
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in Dutch are preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English

- Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation.
- Birth leave: EY will pay 100% of the birth leave, in case of an additional birth leave EY will pay 70% of the salary.
- Training and education: EY believes it's important for everyone to always have the opportunity to further develop yourself. We therefore offer you the opportunity to take part in various soft & hard skills training, external courses and/or sign up for an additional education. For example, obtaining an MBA to broaden your skills in Leadership, Business and Tech.
- Mobility: Contribute directly to our ambition to reduce EY's carbon footprint to zero by 2025. With the new scheme you choose the most diverse sustainable options via the EY My Daily Travel app or online environment. Think of the use of lease bicycles, electric shared scooters, electric shared cars, flexible lease cars and various subscriptions for public transport. - Bicycle arrangement: finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle from your gross monthly salary (purchase cost amount divided over 12 months) or from your non-statutory holiday entitlement.
- Pension scheme: you will build up a pension capital directly after your start at EY. Each month the available premium amount is transferred for you in an investment account at our pension provider. You will also have the option to build up additional pension capital on a voluntary basis.

Recruitment procedure – How can you prepare for a long life together? The selection procedure exists in general out of 2 interview rounds and/or business case. An (online) assessment an pre-employment screening will also be part of the process.
Pre-employment screening
Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened. Depending on your rank the pre employment screening could contain the following: Certificate of Conduct (in Dutch: VOG) or - if requesting a Dutch VOG is not possible - Criminal Background Check of the country you are currently living or have lived during the last five years, integrity questionnaire, verification of ID, diploma’s and/or work experience and consultation of the Dutch insolvency registry.
